Our project, Cobre Panama, is currently in the construction stage to develop a world-class copper mine in the Province of Colon, Panama.  With an expected mine life of over thirty years, the Cobre Panama reserve is one of the largest in the world.  The total investment planned for the execution of this project is US$ 5 billion, making it the largest private investment in Panama's history.

As a responsible mining company, we will comply with the highest international standards, including the Performance Standards of the International Finance Corporation (IFC).  Minera Panama will apply state-of-the-art technology to complement the mining industry's best practices.  This synergy will allow neighboring communities ― and Panama ― to benefit along with our collaborators and shareholders.
