Ours is one of the world's elite undeveloped copper deposits. Its development will allow the copper industry to supply the metal to other industries that use copper, a metal essential to our modern society.  From Panama's advantageous geographic location, we will competitively ship our product, a 30% copper concentrate, to the major copper smelting and refining locations in Asia and Europe.

The execution of this project will be a challenge, given its size, scale, and novelty in the region.  Cobre Panama represents the largest private investment in Panama's history, so we are working with the Panamanian government, local communities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other stakeholders to ensure maximum benefits and minimum negative impact to Panama and its people. We are conducting this operation with the Minera Panama team based in Panama City and our crew at the project site in the Donoso District, Province of Colon.  Cobre Panama will transform Panama into the eleventh largest copper producer in the world, thereby leading to the development of a new, highly beneficial industry.
