Minera Panama will comply with the Policy and Performance Standards for Social and Environmental Sustainability of the International Finance Corporation.  These international standards require studies to identify social and environmental impacts that projects can generate. They require project proponents to design and implement preventative, mitigatory and corrective actions required for responsible mining operations, planning and actions necessary for mine closure.
